Expensive trousers?

what do you think of the juge suing the laundry for 68.million dollars for lose of trousers if the shoe was on the other foot the judge would laugh it out of court
This case is a disgrace and shows everything that is wrong with
our legal system. If this wasn't a fellow judge I don't think this would have ever gotten as far as it has. This guy was offered
$12,000 for his stupid pants, that should have been enough.
Also the judge who let this thing go this far should be put
under some intense scrutiny.
It is yet another example of how our legal system allows for untrammeled foolishness. And if only the fool were impacted it would be bad enough, but in this case the dry cleaner (who in fact, did lose the pants) has been put through enormous expense and trouble - and even if the judge wins he will get a modest amount of money as the dry cleaner doesn't have that much. And our court system is yet again clogged with something that should have not been thrown out. The pleadings should have been wrapped into a nice club and the judge and his lawyer beaten about the head and shoulders for a while before being hit with a substantial fine for being jerks.

Somehow I think this suit is more spurious than it appears. I think there's a good chance the plaintiff is bringing the suit to make a point that the justice system is out of control and that we need tort reform. Did you know the cleaners found his trousers and still offered him a 12,000 settlement. That should tell you all you need to know about this Republican judge's motivations.
