My hubby was charged with felony 2, can we continue our plans to move to a different state?

He will come back for all court appearances
AS LONG AS ITS NOT MY STATE ITS OK BY ME It's doubtful. Have him ask his atty.
If hes convicted he will serve jail, if I were you I would hire a honourable lawyer and come up with the most tearful drive why he did what he did. I had a friend who committed a felony 5 and he got house arrest and 2 yr unsupervised probation. Also, as far as I know they wont let you travel to another state because its considered lofty risk. If you must travel he might have a very high bond to compensate. CHECK THE SMALL PRINT! THERE SHOULD BE SOMETHING, A PAPER, THE FELONY CHARGE FROM THE ATTENDING LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY OR STATES ATTORNEY THAT SAYS YOU CANNOT LEAVE JURISDICTION. BE CAREFUL IF YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE A BLAST AND GO ANYWHERE YOUR LITTLE HEARTS DESIRE HE COULD THEN BE FEDERALLY CHARGED WITH "CROSSING STATE LINES TO AVOID PROSECUTION" AND THE FBI GETS INVOLVED. THE STATE COULD ADD ANOTHER FELONY "FLIGHT TO AVOID PROSECUTION". YOU COULD THEN ALSO FORGET BOND AT ANY COST. ASK THE COURT FIRST.
IN A CRIMINAL CASE YOU HMUST HAVE AN ATTORNEY OR ONE WILL BE APPOINTED FOR YOU. THEY WILL SET YOU STREIGHT.
As long as he is not under a court proclaim to not leave the state he can move. He needs to be sure to discuss his move with his attorney and be final for all court appearances.
