Can anyone tell me the guidelines on bringing into to the uk tobacco and alchohol?
I intend travelling from spain to england where i will be staying for app three months.I will be driving my own vehicle and want to know if there are any limits regarding tobacco & alchohol for my own personal use
Don't bother with tobacco get lots of whisky beer and wine.
No limits for personal use, but over 3000 cigs and you will be questioned!
I buy my cigarettes in Spain and bring back 3,200 they must
be the same brand, sorry I don't know the alcohol limit, I don't
drink but if you ask in duty free in Spain they will keep you
right.Don't forget to fill up your petrol tank in Spain as it is
about £7.00 a gallon in Britain.

The accepted limits are:
3200 cigarettes, 200 cigars, 400 cigarillos, 3kg tobacco, 110 litres of beer, 90 litres of wine, 10 litres of spirits, 20 litres of fortified wine (such as port or sherry).
More than this, and you'll be asked questions.
no limits if travelling from mainland Spain. 3000 and you might get asked about them. if travelling from Gibralter 200 and tenerife 200
