Have you had a bad experience with 'no win,no fee' Accidents at work?
I did basically i fell down a whole set of straires, loads of other people had in the weeks before. My injuries were serious and i was in cast for 9 weeks and out of work for 4 months. When it came to my claim they said the landing just before the straires wasnt the straires so my claim was invalid. I think the solicitor got a backhander. In short i lost £5000/6000 in wages and they ripped out their dodgy strairs. Whats your story and did you get done over!
Answer:
so what was your bad experience?
You expect someone to pay out because you fell down stairs? Didn't you see the stairs were there? If others had fallen then you had an extra duty of care on the stairs, which you seemed not to take.
Quite how you got done over is beyond me, by your own admitted negligence you caused yourself injury, you paid nothing for the 'no win no fee' as you didn't win
So many people are abusing the system ,as had a detrimental effect on the way the insurers view 'accidents', because britain is fast becoming the 51st state, it's encouraging a claim culture, of course every aspec of a claim will be scrutinised i'm affraid, the best advice is to be more vigalent at work! many accidents are born out of tiredness and lack of concentration, how do employers prepare for that?..
