I am getting married and moving to another state, do I need to retake a drivers test there?

I am just curious if I need to re-take a driving test in another state. Will they accept an out of state marriage certificate for a new last name for a in-state license?
depends on the state but usually no,just a written one is all I had to do.as far as your name goes I 'think' you will have to change it with the feds first (social sercurity)
yes or no...depends on state

Answers:
Usually you only have to take the written test when you move to a new state, not the driving one, so long as your old state license is not expired. And yes, they should accept your marriage certificate as proof of name change at the same time. You also need to change your name with Social Security.
As long as your license is valid, they should just give you one in the new state.
You will have to take a written test & eye test but not a road test.
When you move to another state you, normally, only have to take the written test - but wait until you move there and find out what their rules are.
As for marriage - your marriage license is good no matter which state you live in.
