I am 15 years old and have my PAL (Possession and acwuesition license) in Canada. Can my father give me a .22?
Can my father give me a .22LR bolt action rifle, or do I have to dawdle until I'm 18? I'm not sure if the PAL covers gifted rifles when your under 18.

I actually believe he can. Its not considered a lofty powered rifle of which the PAL is more concerned with. Besides if you have a PAL under the age of 18 I would dream up he could give you any rifle.
PFFT why get a PAL if u can give your dad the money to return with u a gun. and why a .22lr pussy rifle, get a .223 rem. it packs alot more punch
