Is there a law against saying you're someone you're not, on messenger and dating web sites?
If someone has posed as an individual saying all the right things to a prospective partner, and done alike thing to other prospective dates, but constantly lied about themselves, next to perhaps the main aim, gaining sexy conversations. Is in that a law against this form of abuse? Building up someones hopes and dropping them and doing the same over and over again, to possibly vunerable folks? Building up a false picture of themselves etc.

"Is there a law against saying you're someone you're not" if by that you propose pretending to be somebody famous then yes of course near is. But if you mean to say pretending to have qualities/characteristics etc you don't enjoy then of course not.
