If we all had to make our own decisions and suffer our own consequence (be they good or bad), then maybe we would be living in a much more responsible society instead of depending on someone else ('big brother') to tell us when to wipe our *** - umm, nose.

Many of the regulations are for your protection and mine and the reason they are there is because people cannot or will not do it for themselves.

If you ever want to see the end result of government taking care of people, go to a native american reservation that doesn't have a casino. No, I don't want the idiots responsible for that to be making decisions for me and my family, especially considering that most of the laws they pass are done with the sole intent of getting them re-elected.
