What limits are there on welfare? How easy is it to abuse this system?

there are cases of welfare fraud adjectives over. people get medical assistance and then bring drugs they get and sell them for 5 or 10 times what they pay for them. they use food stamps to buy drugs and alcohol. thats single a few examples of the fraud. the welfare system is creating a mentality that people derserve things for nothing.
The mainstream US medium makes it seem like the organization is wasting our money giving lavish checks to black welfare queens with 10 kids who pick up their checks in cadillacs (to quote reagan). the reality is that we've be cutting welfare programs for the past 30-40 years (how do you think the "liberal" clinton hanging the budget? he told single mothers that they'd "earn" welfare by working, though i guess caring for children isn't work - and these children would then be left home alone bc the US doesn't enjoy a childcare system like other countries). the proportion of the budget that goes to food stamps and the like is so small, probably 1-2 pct if that. the most money the govt. spends contained by terms of welfare is corporate subsidies to huge corporations like GE, Boeing, Raytheon, etc. in reality, you can see what kind of "welfare system" we have right now beside the bailouts (with no strings attached) we're having all over the place. people on welfare most distinctly work off the books, and the reason is that the avg. welfare receiver receives something like $300/month for a regular family. if you construe you can live off of that, if that is such a large burden on you individually in taxes as compared to the billions given to Boeing, Raytheon, GE, Monsanto, etc., then sure go do something just about it - stop those welfare mothers from stealing money from you. out of all the industrialized advanced countries, the US has by far the stingiest welfare system - compared to europe and japan/korea/taiwan we're undertaxed, and other countries have a highly developed standard of living for regular folks than we do. think about that.
I know people on welfare who work jobs off accounts, I know people on disability that can work just fine. The nanny state is killing us, which is but another foundation why I don't pay taxes.....it's called my own stimulus. Good luck collecting anything from me.
