A family member of mine was groped repeatedly by a man in line at a Walgreen's. What can she do legally?
She asked store employees to help her but they stood by & did nothing. She made quite a scene so everyone in the store was aware of what was going on. The man just laughed. Unfortunately, she didn't call the police at the time because she was late for a wedding.
She needs to take a little martial arts. White Tiger Kung Fu.
if she didnt call the cops right then and there....there is not a whole lot she can do about it now
Answer:
gotta tell ya, if she thought going to a party (wedding) was more important than calling the police, it must not have been all that disturbing.
well since she didnt call the cops umm not really anything i dont think. cause you showed it wasnt a big enough deal for you to call the cops then obiviously it wouldnt be worth their time to investigate it. you can try and press charges for sexual misconduct or lewd behaviour in a public place if those laws are in that state but honestly since she didnt call the cops i dont think much. but then again i dont know anthing.
You should take lawyer's help

she can get a lawsuit for Walgreen's for not protecting her in the time she was at their location/property it might take a long time but I'm pretty sure she will beat the case, and she can get the police to get/submit the video, and make a news paper police blotter or if you want to make something major call a local news channel to try and get a copy of the incident so they can broadcast that a certain individual is going around sexually harassing bystanders and walgreens is just looking the other side
that is what I would have done after I beat the hell out of the perv
Kick his ***. It's legal if you don't get in trouble for it lol. Lawsuits don't settle anything I say kick his ***.
repeatedly? the first time she should have got off the line and called police
Call the police, it's not too late.
