I need to know who I can talk with about receiving deceased spouse's social security.?
Was told by s.s. administration I can receive when I am 60 providing I do not marry again. I know people who are younger than I receiving monies from departed spouses. Can you help?

Looks like 60 is the age... see this link:
What you need to do is apply for survivor's benefits. If you have children then you should place the benefits surrounded by their name(s).
http://www.ssa.gov/ww&os2.htm You can either wait until you turn 60 and draw from full benes or get it now and get reduced benes. Either approach, you are entitled.
