Can I get arrested for having an out of state license?

I have been living in Maine since December 20th, I registered my vehicle within Febuary, but I still have my NH license.( It's 60 dollars to get a license. I simply don't have the money right now) What characteristics of trouble could I get into for having an out of state license if I get pulled over?

it deoends on the state i belive as to when you must get a new license but honestly as long as the license isnt expired the cop probably wont do anything, at the most you would incur a 50$ fine and be required to get a brand new license

I would assume you would not get into any trouble. You have a valid license. Obviously you are supposed to get it Transferred but it is not unsanctioned. At least it is not illegal in the state of texas. I would phone call your local DMV and just ask.. btw are you sure it is 60 dollars? that is really high to a short time ago get your license transferred. I would double check on that too. Again I am referring to texas, but I has a Kansas license and did not get it transferred any and then realized it was expired.. Anyway I have to retake the written, driving, and vision test lol.. It only cost me 23 dollars for everything..
