Is he or did he violate his probation?

Ok here's the scenario...

A guy loses his license. He is caught driving and he is arrested. In court he is order to serve 10 days in jail. He decideds he wants to go to the State's Attourney's office to appeal it in which they give him 30 days (Stupid! Duh! No license = can't drive legally). Anyway within those thirty days he is arrested for residential burglary serves about a month and a half. He goes to court and is put on probation. After he's out of jail he gets arrested for warrants relating to the driving w/ no license (warrant was for escape). Is he still violating his probation even though the incident happened before he was put on probation and he was just arrested for it afterwards?
I hope so, this IDIOT LOOSER could use some time in jail, maybe he can learn his lesson there! Then again some people are just to stupid to learn anything, so either way him being in jail works out well!
Yes, and he needs to quit with the burglary and driving without a license.
Sounds like a real winner..
this guy needs locking up anyway

Answer:
No. A probation violation can only occur for conduct which is subsequent to being placed on probation. The court knew, or should have known, of the prior offenses when it placed him on probation.
goes back to jail (duh)
VIOLATION!!!!!!!!! i would report him but i'm a goodie good
Yep,he's in trouble.
