Does anyone think celeberities should be above the law?

Even if she is convicted I doubt that she will get more than time in a country club style prison. Money buys too many people out of trouble in this country. Just ask Ted Kennedy.

No way!! They are people like us, and they have no right being above any of us. Just because they are big celebs doesn't mean that they don't have to do the time.

No. No-one is above the law, especially not Paris of all people. Just because she's rich and famous doesn't make her better than the rest of us.
All citizens should be treated equally. Being a celebrity should not have any sway in how a person is treated.

Of course not! The law is the law, and it applies equally to everyone in my opinion.
Oh of course, why with out people like her influencing our little girls they might actually think there's more to life than money & beauty & we wouldn't want that now would we.

actually i think she did not get enough, just because she can afford a driver and was caught twice driving drunk AFTER she was convicted in a first place.
