Can i sue for this?

Me and my friend were skateboarding in the back of a Mall Complex, the Complex be closed at the time and we didn't see any signs telling us we couldn't skate there. After about an hour or so, a Cop(pig) pulls up asking us "what the hell we are doing" i told him that we are skateboarding. He get out of the the police car, and got in my frontage, screaming at me telling me " you cant F'ing skateboard here" along with a few other bad words. Me and my two friends told him we didn't know, and said we would go away.

He then mocked us, calling us idiots for thinking that we can skate here. As we were walking away he asked us where we lived. I told him "Sir, why does it concern we are leaving and wont come back" he grabbed me and said "I ASKED WERE YOU LIVED" I told him i lived down the road and he blew up. He threw me on the ground yelling at me. My friend told him to ******* and he handcuff him. He arrested us and told us that we were "disobeying" a police officer. Can we sue him?
Personally, I think you are lying. "I told him 'Sir, why does it matter we are leaving and wont come back' ". My guess is he may hold had an attitude, but if he arrested you you sure as hell didn't just politely say what you claim to enjoy said. Your attitude toward the police shows pretty plainly in the part where you vote, "After about an hour or so, a Cop(pig) pulls up". You probably started mouthing off to him and when he got angry (as human beings sometimes do when someone is one rude to them) you started arguing more. Maybe you should learn to respect people if you expect them to respect you and treat you right. For your future information. Malls are private property. You should singular be there to shop. The parking lot is intended for parking your vehicle while you shop. You were trespassing. You did not show the proper respect to a police officer. You acted as if you had something to put away. That's just not a smart thing to do.

Sure you can sue him. But keep contained by mind that he could also get you for trespassing and refusing to answer his valid questions. Is it really worth it?
No you can't sue him because the judge will take the side of the officer. You can but you will lose and spend foolishly your money. Common sense should have told you that you couldn't skate there. He was offering you a path to avoid being arrested for trespass and you rejected that. You cannot sue for the cop being rude, any more than you can be sued for calling the cop a pig. Because the cop had probable impose to believe you were on private property without permission the arrest be lawful. If it were not, then a jury could award you your damages which should amount to around a buck and a half.
Congratulations, you have just well-educated a life lesson.

The cop had no reason to treat you within this manner. However, there isn't anything that you can do about it. This is why empire don't trust the police. They are generally undereducated bullies.
You have no standing to sue based on what you explained.

First past its sell-by date, you must realize that there doesn't need to be a sign saying "No skateboarding" on private property and you shouldn't skateboard anywhere unless you enjoy permission or it clearly states you can skateboard (such as a skateboard park).

The police can certainly talk to you in the region of what you are doing. If the police asks you questions and you do not answer or provide false information they have the right to detain you.

The best course of action you own would be to file a complaint about the officer in this incident if you touch the officer was out of bounds. The agency should then look into it and see if there is a guide with the officer.

Good luck and remember to get permission until that time skateboarding!
Sorry kid it is a here say case it is your word against his you'll never win. the next time you want to skate someone ask the mediator when they are open. that way you know for certain. SUE SUE SUE SUE

Sueing everyone is not an answer. Hopefully you literary a lesson. I do not believe you at all on how you or the police behaved.

If you don't get an attitude adjustment SOON, I can guarentee you will be seeing the inside of intern before you reach 21.
Sadly, as a practical business, you're out of luck. IF you had money to burn, you could make him pay. You could profile complaints against him with his department and get him 'looked at' by internal affairs. You would probably lose a civil case against him unless you go for a jury trial. However, by forcing him to go through the motions and hire an attorney, etc., you would be inflicting a kind of hell on him that you, as a young creature, can't really imagine. You have no grounds for a lawsuit and the cost to lose such a suit would be prohibitive. Lawsuits generally require that here be damages - for example, someone destroyed your car or significantly injured you & you have the police reports and medical evidence and hopefully eye witness reports & you did nothing to incite the perpetrator to injure you.

When a cop say "Jump!" You start jumping and say, "How high?" If the cop is within the wrong, you obey anyway and deal with it subsequently from the safety of your attorney's office. An example would be if the cop said "drop your drawers" and then raped you & you have medical evidence that a violent sexual assault had occurred and the cop's DNA found surrounded by an orifice of your body. If you disobey a cop, they must consider that things are about to escalate & you might have weapons or friends around the corner, etc., and the cop MUST gain control of the situation to minimize potential threats.

Sounds similar to the cop you were dealing with was a shudder, but you were on private property. If you had fallen and broken a leg or nouns or something, you or your folks might have brought suit against the property owner and even if you did not win, it would have cost the property owner plenty to defend such a suit. Even if to be precise not how you or your family would react, those are things cops have to nick into consideration.

Sorry, just try to stay below the radar. Hope you get a seriously awesome skate park real close to home solid soon.
First you go to your parents and the other kids' parents and tell them what happen and how you were treated. Then as a group go to the police station and file a complaint against this officer near his superiors. Second you let them know you want to press charges against the officer for assault. If that doesn't get you some results you contact local media and attorneys within your area. no NO NO
