What is punishment for robbing a fast food store in Oregon?
I mean robbing it with a butter knife you hoof it in try and take the money get the weapon taken away, destructive the register being knocked to the floor and held to cops come.

If I were the cashier, the punishment would hold been death. That is probably illegal within Oregon to protect yourself from some halfwit with a butter knife, but going to jail for bloodshed a thief is OK to me.
Even though the use of a butter knife is hysterical in its stupidity, it is still armed robbery. I'd guess 15-20 years.

I can not imagine any one would be stupid enough to try to rob a store using a butter blade as a weapon. Rather than punish I think the perpetrator should be locked away to protect him from himself. Probably community service but if there is previous it could be custodial.00
