CSI or Law and Order: SVU?

My friend thinks the majority of people like CSI more. Please prove her wrong.
law and oder svu is the bestest show ever ive seen every episode from every season and the show keeps getting better and better but i heard that mariska that plays olivia benson is leaving cuz shes having a baby so that sucks if its true

CSI is overrated. It has gone down the tube...and it's stuck there. I have loved Law & Order: SVU since I started watching it. Never disappoints me. :) Wonderful storylines and drama. It's hard to watch sometimes but that's the thing that makes a show better than the rest.

Hmm....let's see.

If you tend to like cameras whizzing in circles through laboratories in a vain attempt to make clinical research look exciting (oohhh, look! a bunsen burner! Oh, wow, she's spinning that thingy that separates plasma!) interspersed with extreme close-ups so tight you can tell what brand of razor William Peterson uses...CSI is your thing.

If you just can't live without yet another hour of television that goes 'chung-chung', sub-standard acting (why oh why can't Vincent D'Onofrio be on every L&O program), and sudden, rapid, cockeyed cameras jerking for no apparent reason, other than to indicate that the cameraman's Pelligrino has been laced with Everclear...well, then I guess Law and Order: SVU is your cup of tea.

The obvious answer to your question is simple, and a proven fact. CSI is at the top of the Nielsen ratings every week. Law & Order: SVU hovers from the upper 20's to the teens in ratings. Ergo, CSI is watched by the greater majority of people.
It pretty close but I would pick SVU.
