Are Volunteers covered by Workers' Comp?

In California, are Volunteers covered under Workers' Comp? Labor Code § 3351 indicates volunteers for non profits companies ARE covered, but where is the code for For Profit companies?

Typcially no.... however that said, most companies do/have to cover a liablitly insurance for said volunteers.
I worked for a non-profit, we had to carry insurance in case something happened to one of our volunteers while volunteering.
