Would it be reasonable for the U.S. to ban entry of all Muslim students until further notice?

Or are we legally bound to bow to the mantle of political correctness and allow entry to some who may kill us?
No it would be totally unreasonable and foolish.

You're more likely to be killed by a local 'American' street thug than by some Muslim student.
Is the US similar to the Nazi?
These Muslims you are talking about are the same Muslims that get kicked out of their country by a puppet regime created by the USA. It seems only fair that they come here and not go anywhere else.
No.

Answer:
It would be absaloutley reasonable.

These muslims come to america, to use american education against the american people. They hijack our planes using our engineering and aviation knowledge to murder us.

They open up mosques(who fund terrorists), they open their businesses and shops and they even make islamic schools. Some of the sheikhs even preach death to us, in Our own COUNTRY !

They take advantage of our culture and society to spread islamic influence over the U.S. One of the princes of saudi donated millions to schools all over the U.S to open islamic programs.

Lets ask this, In islamic nations that impose shariah law, Are americans allowed to study, pray, wear the cross, open christian schools, Preach any religion other than islam ? HELL TO THE NO!!

Trust me if america bans ALL muslims from coming to live in america, she will be doing us a huge favor.

Look at britain, it is already in very deep. Britain has let islam in, not to mention all of europe. Not to mention the danish cartoon issue. Please dont say freedom, freedom has nothing to do with a religion that believes all humans should be like it, and that it should dominate.

Once the snake tastes the blood of Mice It is Unstoppable !
get out of america
what about the crazy people like you already here
No! And why, ok because all the immigrants that found this land now called America were people running from religious persicution. Hence the name land of opportunity. History is repeating itself.
It's not reasonable.
First, there's no relation between muslim terrorists and muslim students. The fact that you found out that one or many terrorist (allegedly) were students is not enough. Based on the statements of the UK government, you should ban also muslim doctors. You can also ban muslims all together. However, nor Timothy McVeigh or the Unabomber were muslims.
So, maybe you should ban men. But I'm pretty sure that we can find at least one case of a female terrorist. Do you want to ban humans?

How about that? Forget about terrorism and call it what it really is, a crime. What we need is law enforcers with more intelligence to fight crime. The terrorist attacks are tragic events. But we're loosing a lot more lives in the hands of common crime, traffic accidents or government mistakes (including war).
It seems that the deaths of many thousands whose lives were taken one by one require less attention than the deaths of not so many thousands in one catastrophic event.
Taking care of the first case requires hard work, intelligence and the results would be easily seen since those are daily events and widespread. We should see the numbers going down.
Taking care of the catastrophic events is consuming huge amount of resources (money, work time, etc) and the results can't be measured. Because the events are so sparse, the government can claim a success just because it didn't happen for a long period of time. In the meantime, the civil liberties are being taken one by one.

It's like a magic trick. They're pointing fingers to the muslims and while you're looking at it you miss the real thing, that they're targetting YOU!
why now ?
'IF' we were going to do this wouldn't it have been a better idea to do it in the days just after the 9-11 attacks ?

Almost all the horses are out of the barn and maybe we should go slam the doors shut.

If we want to keep ourselves safe I hope we could do better than that !
Not reasonable. That does not mean however that some profiling and tracking should be done on their activities and whereabouts while in the US.
If your only reason for keeping them out is that 'some... may kill us,' well, any type of person entering the US 'may kill us.' We shouldn't allow the few Muslims who do choose to become terrorists to have such a broad influence on our immigration policy, an issue key to the US economy.
This is not an issue of political correctness, but an issue of making good policy.
It would be common sense to do so. Everyone who says no or that it would be racist, wait until the next attack happens and how surprised you will be to learn that they were students studying in the US.
As reasonable as incarcerating all white Christian males, because 3 of them blew up the Oklahoma City offices.

It's absurd to deny entrance to thousands of people because maybe 1 of them wants to do us harm.

It's also just wrong.
not only is it reasonable but common sense
1st, 5th and 14th amendments of the document some of us refer to as the US constitution prohibits discrimination based on religion.

When you get a chance you might want to read it, nobody in the Bush administration has.
