Best Answer:
You be determined corporeal punishment? I wish. It might keep some of these kids in chain. Right now it where the kids can get away beside being physical with the teachers but the don can't even brush the back of their hand against a kid.

Yes. Corporal punishment is still common surrounded by many rural areas in our country (this is an American question, yes?). I live down here contained by the shitty state of Alabama and there was a news story of how a football player is suing some conservatory system out in the sticks over a paddling.
Corporal punishment (paddling, spanking, etc...) is a very conterversial issue. In some states it is legal but parents have to sign a consent form to allow administrator to punish the student with a witness. Also, the student must be fully dressed. Here are where the states in the U.S. stand: Where the states stand on corporal punishment: Alabama--Legal Alaska--Illegal Arizona--Legal Arkansas--Legal California--Illegal Colorado--Legal Connecticut--Illegal Delaware--Illegal District of Columbia--N/A Florida--Legal Georgia--Legal Hawaii--Illegal Idaho--Legal Illinois--Illegal Indiana--Legal Iowa--Illegal Kansas--Legal Kentucky--Legal Louisiana--Legal Maine--Illegal Maryland--Illegal Massachusetts--Illegal Michigan--Illegal Minnesota--Illegal Mississippi--Legal Missouri--Legal Montana--Illegal Nebraska--Illegal Nevada--Illegal New Hampshire--Illegal New Jersey--Illegal New Mexico--Legal New York--Illegal North Carolina--Legal North Dakota--Illegal Ohio--Illegal Oklahoma--Legal Oregon--Illegal Pennsylvania--Illegal Rhode Island--Illegal South Carolina--Legal South Dakota--Illegal Tennessee--Legal Texas--Legal Utah--Illegal Vermont--Illegal Virginia--Illegal Washington--Illegal West Virginia--Illegal Wisconsin--Illegal Wyoming--Legal I get this from this site: http://school.familyeducation.com/classroom-discipline/resource/38377.html I went to a K-8 school in Michigan within the 70's and 80's and they paddled but only if your parents signed a consent form. My parents would not permit it as they didn't believe in spanking at adjectives. I don't think any teacher should spank a student. Leave that up to the parents. If the kid did something really bad, inform the parents and depart from it up to them! also, please report KK. i hate that people are using this site to advertise. it's spam and off the record. thanks!!!!
I know mostly southern states,I'm from the north east part of America, and we get the paddle when we acted up ,and its still like that today.
