Traffic light camera question?

so i was driving through an intersection at the speed limit, if not under, and the light turned yellow and then the camera started flashing, 2-3 times, taking pictures of my car, i was completely through the intersection by the time the light went red. am i going to get a ticket in the mail? if so, is there any way to prove that the light went off and i wasn't at fault?
You have the right, in court, to face your accuser.

In this case, that would be the camera.

Subpoena the camera, and they'll likely drop the case. Your defense has the right to claim the camera as 'vital evidence to the defense' to be removed and examined by a professional of your choosing.

They have to prove the timing device in the camera worked perfectly on the date in question.
just keep looking in the mail

Answer:
We have them here (GA) - where they don't have to prove you were driving the car - the registered owner of the car gets the ticket no matter who was driving.

However: In some U.S. jurisdictions (primarily California, Arizona, Illinois), also in Sweden and Norway, the law says that the camera needs to obtain a photo of the driver's face, of sufficient quality to convince the judge that he is convicting the actual driver, not someone else who had access to the vehicle. Some California cities send registered owners a document that looks like a real camera ticket (but in fact has no legal weight) in an effort to get the owner to identify the driver responsible for the offense.

no you shouldnt
You'll find out. It might have been taking pictures of a car behind you.

I just realized something - they are talking about putting those cameras in around here. But we only have rear licence plates, so they'd have to take a picture of us from behind, AFTER we are through the light. And then they can't get a picture of our face. So how can they prove who was driving the car?
no i highly doubt it. the cameras do that to all the cars that go by.
