4 wheelers In MICHIGAN?

I have My Drivers License I am 16 and i got a helmet so does that give me the right to drive it in the back roads if not where?

Answer:
Legally, as long as it is a public road designed for cars, even though its a 'back road' its not legal. The fourwheeler is not 'street legal'. you want to ride on back roads but still be legal you could trade it in on a dualsport motorcycle instead...
i think you have to stay on trails.or the rails to trails they have all over the state.if you drive on any roads it is against the law as far as i know.always wear a helmet no matter what my son had a friend when he was 7 that died because he did not wear a helmet riding on his parents land with a older brother flew off the 4 wheeler and hit his head on a huge rock it killed him right there.be careful.good luck.
