how can a judge be held accountable?
Best Answer:
There are a number of folks above the law eg.politicians, rich people celebrities and yes Judges.
They can't the judiciary is independent and largely untouchable. A judge can only really be held reason by his peers and that rarely happens.
Not unless you are a higher ranking Free mason than they are!
Pretty much can't. A judge can be sent beforehand the state judicial review board for possible violations of law. The review board may find him/her guilty of some issue, and then punish them. My experience is the trendsetter will get nothing more than a slap on the wrist, unless it falls in the felony nouns, then justice might be done.
Most states have an agency call the judicial performance commission or something like that. You can probably ask your local court clerk for the information. If you can't get it within, look on Google for your state supreme court page. If you can't find the info on that page, call the supreme court clerk's office and ask how to contact the proper agency.
