How do I get my gun license?
I already have a gun (my dad bought it for me) and I live in Oregon. any ideas on where I can find more information?
Go to the Sheriffs Office in your county that's where you
get a pistol permit.
There is no gun license! local laws(state to state) are different!
Go to a local gun shop they can help with registration if necessary!.
Answer:
Actually go online and look for the website regarding Oregon gun laws. I'm sure the information is available.
In most cases gun laws vary by state ..........
In Pennsylvania you have to be 21 to own a hand gun and apply for a permit.
To obtain the permit you have to apply at the Sheriff's office at the county court house ,provide proof of who you are , where you live , how long you have lived in the county, how long you have lived in the state, have a background checks ran at the state and federal level, provide character references , reason for your need of a permit , and pay for the permit , filing fees and checks.
Then wait 14 days for an answer.
If you can't find the information anywhere on-line - contact your state Representative and ask for a copy of your state's gun laws.
I have a copy of my state's and get an update mailed to me when anything changes.
