What is the legal age of consent in Washington state?
Does anyone know what the legal age of consent in Washington State is, with or without parental consent, I am reading some websites that say its 16 with parental consent or some say 36 mos with parental consent and some say 18, im confused, anyone know??? I do know it varies from state to state so if you dont know the answer for WASHINGTON state please dont contribute
The legal age of consent for independent action is 16. Between the ages of 16 and 18 the brat has a free reign as they don't have to obey the parent (sex, drugs and rock-and-roll time) but they are not considered an adult for purposes of legal prosecution or contracts until 18.
Hope this helps.
Depends on what type of 'consent' you mean.
And sweetie, 36 months is 3 years and 18 months is one and a half years. I don't think a toddler can consent to much.
Your question is very poorly worded.
Answer:
I am NOT a lawyer, this is NOT legal advice. This is simply information from the internet.
According to avert.org, the age of consent can range from 16 to 18 in Washington state depending on the difference in age between participants.
If you have no circumstances where you are in a relationship with this person that could be abused (worker/employee, teacher/student) or the like, the age of consent appears to be 16.
