All punishment would also include a jail term.....
1) Public Stoneing
2) Public Flogging
3) Birching
and the more serious the crime the harsher the punishment,please give me your reasons why you think Yes/No to these thanks....
Also that a life sentence would mean until the end of your life,and that jails would be tougher not as cushy as they are now..................
They used to hang pick pockets in public squares while pick pockets were busy picking the pockets of the crowds gathered to watch the hangings. So, no I don't think it would be a deterrent.
Might be, but it would also be inhumane, and any leader that implimented such punishments could be tried by the UN for crimes against humanity.

Yes, the more humiliation the more the criminal learns. Appeasement just makes them bolder and allows them to continute breaking laws. Of course your going to have the humane treatment idiots putting their spineless two cents into the pot.
