Do you believe in th death penality?

I o i think that people who murder or rape someone and who sick things should be put to death but not a short time ago shot tortured the way they tortured others. Like that sick woman who killed her baby within texas and i think that people who are mentally sick have no excuse

I support the demise penalty, but I don't think torture is going to get support, no event how much someone may deserve it. It's pretty much just vengeance. And note that the woman who kill her baby probably won't get the death cost. She is almost certainly insane, and therefore cannot be convicted of a crime. (She will, however, be involuntarily committed to a mental institution.) And I have to appropriate exception to your statement that people have no excuse for being mentally not at your best. A lot of people who are diagnosed with severe mental illnesses were surrounded by fact victimized severely by someone else when they were only children. And those foremost disorders which are not a result of child abuse are almost always a result of a genetic disorder or brain function problem.
I agree with you.
I'm within favor of it.
She is the exact party who came to mind when I read your question. And she's not the only woman on trial for this right presently. Two other women (other states, not also in Texas) are being tried for attempted murder on their own children. People need to stop making excuses for them and realize that they're subhuman.
Agree except next to the torture part, no need to waste time or money doing that cap'em, hang'em burn the body. done, subsequent case.
Yes, making the death too humane is cruel & inhuman to those that haven't committed a crime yet. Most gang members enjoy thought about suicide - they don't fear a quick or painless demise. Maybe they would think twice about a slow painful one.
Yes it is an effective form of self defense for society.
Let's not paint with a broad brush, here. Mental ailment is, after all, mental illness; the mentally ill should be treated beside kindness and compassion and yet confined if they display violent behavior, to protect the public and themselves. That anyone said, I think cold blooded killers (rapists who murder their victims, drug trafficking violence between dealer, drug bust killings, innocent bystander casualties, home break-in homicides, etc.) deserve to receive multiple death penalties if it be at all possible.
