Libby acted in concert with Bush and Cheney, is this not grounds for impeachment?

Absolutely, but will the republicans turn against their parties head ,when it comes time for the vote?

Impeachment is not going to happen. Neither Bush or Cheney have *ever* performed an impeachable offense.

Also, for a retired Priest, I find this destructive method of trying to stir up strife very, very disturbing.

Answers:
A president can be impeached for obstruction of justice. Handwritten notes by Vice President Dick Cheney, introduced at trial by attorneys prosecuting former White House staffer I. Lewis 'Scooter' Libby, would appear to implicate George W. Bush in the Plame CIA Leak case. I think the fact that Scooter was found guilty means Cheney's notes held validity about Bush.
