Do you think the torture should be aloud to get the truth or is it moraly wrong?

What's your point of view? Which one is more important for you? Saving more lifes by torture or human rights and morals.
I disagree with torture for any reason...if we allow it...does that give other countries permission to torture our citizens also?

Torture is not only morally wrong, it is ineffective.

Given plenty of time and a few tools, I could make you confess to bing the second gunman on the grassy knoll if that is what I wanted a confession about.

it's not only about whether it is morally wrong but whether it is likely to produce good results and the problem with using torture is that it doesn't really produce good results...
maybe the threats in the first place might but once you go beyond that people will tell you anything and confess to all sorts because that is what tehir torturers want...
funny how a lot of govts (and people) seem to think torture is justified in extreme situations but then complain about other countries forcing untrue confessions out of their citizens?

Do I think it should be routine? Hell no. The fact of the matter is there is a fine line between right and wrong sometimes.
I think physical torture in any form is wrong. People may argue that it is best when attempting to find out secrets that will bring about harm if uncovered. I know that militaries, including ours, have used this procedure, and judging by the current state of things, doesn't seem as if it is working too well. There are still terrorists and things that will bring down our society. We will never be able to infiltrate the minds of every person intent on destroying things. If we could, then events like Columbine and every other serious situation could be prevented.
Let me ask you a question.

The soldiers or national security have captured several soldiers from the opposing military. They are stripped, isolated, blindfolded and subjected to torture on a daily basis in order to get information concerning their military's actions, locations. It is very important that these captured men or women give what information they have. Lives can be saved using the information they possess. - And - they know where weapons are kept and other soldiers are located. With the information they can provide, the capturing soldiers can plan attacks to wipe out the enemy. The captives are 'waterboarded', prodded with electrical prods, subjected to much humilation by the soldiers. Sometimes they are physically harmed by being burned or hit with fists and boards. They are denied food, mostly given hard bread and water. Their lives are threatened everyday with guns, knives and swords.

Now, imagine that the captive soldiers are members of the U.S. Army and the captors are Islamic radicals.

Now, you figure out if torture is right or moral.
The question that should be asked first is; Should Muslim terrorist who behead innocent victims in front of a video cameras and bomb schoolchildren be treated like Mary Poppins at tea time?Only the bleeding hearted 'Hate America'Americans,believe so.Anything that could be done to those fanatics in order to save lives,should be done without any scruples.Wouldn't you do it to save your loved ones?
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If you do not want someone to torture you, then you should not support torturing others.
