How would judicial activist and a judicial restraint judge look at abortion, assisted suicide, & gay marriage?

I am taking a test today and we are required to know this. Thanks

Answer:
In general, an 'activist' wants to change things and someone who favors 'restraint' wants to keep things the same. If it's a matter of law, 'activist' judges want to reinterpret laws and a 'judicial restraint' judge would want to rely on precedent and existing laws to make rulings.

Since your test is today, I'm sure you know all this already. You need to know how YOUR teacher/professor defines these terms in order to pass the test.
