Is the government crossing the line with the latest x-ray scanning devices at airport security checkpoints?

Virtual strip searches? Necessary inconvenience or a complete violation?
The state has the right to conduct searches for passengers in order to protect the aviation industry from terrorists. It is a valid exercise of the police power of the state.
If you read the complete information on this process, you will see it is VOLUNTARY. If you have an objection to being scanned, they will check you out by the current means of a pat-down.
Nobody is going to violate your rights.
yes,but they crossed the line before, when they strip searched my then 2 year old grandson.
Its only voluntary right now.
Id rather have a virtual strip search than an actual strip search though.
no...not doing enough yet
That would be a big NO! since going through it is voluntary. Of course, you didn't read that part, did you?
its wrong. they dont need to everything thats in my pockets.if i had a big dildo in my pocket then thats not illegal but it would be an invasion of privacy
An unfortunate sign of the times, you have to examine it usage. I assume this examination is to replace a different type of search. I would rather have no searches but I am willing to face some hassle to make terrorism that much more difficult.
Answer:
Nope, not crossing the line. Its a male perpetrated test designed to look through your clothes honey :)
Doesn't affect me, as I travel nude anyway.
