Underage drinking and drinking age=BS?
Ok so I have been drinking since I was 18 and I am almost 21 in a minute 2 months. My take on this is that if you can go to war and die for your country(mature ample to do that) you damn well should be able to drink alcohol(that is why I never followed this stupid law). And no I am not in the military and that is to say not the point anyway, cuz you are not supposed to drink in the military. The Point is if you are old enough to run to war(which you are at 18) then you should be able to drink. I really dont get why it is at this age anyway. There will other be those immature and stupid people, no matter what age. Also it isnt by age that alcohol become problems, its by experience. Which will be more likely to overdrink or get in a motor and drive while drunk, a 20 year old with three years experience in drinking, who know his limits and knows what alcohol does to him or a 21 year old who doesnt know any of those factors and just started drinking. Who you ask? You would be suprised that the 21 year old who know nothing about alcohol is more likely to do this. Also lowering the age will raison d`¨ētre binge drinking to decrease, cuz they can get it when ever so no need to drink so much contained by one sitting cuz you might only get to drink once a week or less. Alot of teens die too cuz they hold to hide there drinking they cant go to the hospital if they bring back alcohol poisoning cuz they will get in huge trouble, so they just try to read out its not so bad sleep it off and they die. The law does not stop a huge majority of teens from drinking solitary makes them hide it and drink more in one sitting, thus I regard the law makes it worse. There should be an age limit and it should be 18 when your a decriminalized adult, you should be able to do all fully developed activities. Plus all the age is doing is making it look cool to do and doesnt discourage anyone, but actually promotes underage drinking. So why not lower it? btw this is contained by no way just a rant cuz I am underage and like drinking. First of adjectives I only have two months left report 21. Second I never have never will give a damn about This decree. Once I am 21 I will be buying for my underage friends, cuz I dont believe in the law and could care smaller quantity. This is because I truely think the law is stupid and actually increaseing teen drinking not preventing it Also if you still regard it should be 21 then move a legal adult to 21 too, adjectives adult actions and consequences should then be moved to 21, not newly pick and choose what is considered an adult.

"Once I am 21 I will be buying for my underage friends, cuz I dont believe in the law and could care smaller amount." Be careful. If you provide an underaged person with alcohol, and they conclude up drunk driving and hurting or killing someone, YOU can be held as responsible as the driver. I know, I know, YOU won't do that. Just making sure you know. The reason why the drinking age is 21 is that America is very much a puritanical country, especially when it comes to alcohol. Every state have odd liquor laws dating back to around prohibition times. In my state, I own seen that businesses that sell alcohol have to post signs announcing when they devolution owners (?). And of course, bars close at 2, like that make a difference in any way. Other states are worse: there are states where on earth you can't buy any alcohol on Sunday, states where you have to buy alcohol at a state-run store. South Carolina just just this minute started allowing bars to use regular sized bottles of liquor, and Utah just recently consent to people go to bars in need being a member of a club, and let bar operate without a wall between the bartender and the customer. My cousin goes to school within Oregon, and there, restaurants have special 21+ sections which are the singular place in the restaurant you can order alcohol. In essence, my point is that many Americans hold deep-seated negative views of alcohol, and this is probably the only basis why we have a drinking age of 21. There are arguments that if we lower the drinking age to 18, younger teens will have even easier access to alcohol. In the short term, like mad of people probably will go over board. In the long run, hopefully it would be like other countries near a drinking age of 18, where underage binge drinking isn't much of a problem.
Over here you have to be 18 to drink, and i still think that's stupid. Try 16??? That would be better law.
I agree with you on principle, up until the point you advocate breaking the directive. I may disagree with this law, but I do have respect for the rule of ruling.. The US has this sort of "two ages of majority" thing going, which makes no sense to me. At 18, we trust a soul with a loaded gun in a foreign (possibly hostile) land. We trust them to label a decision on who the president of the country can be. We trust them to make decisions on their own healthcare. We trust them to enter into allowed contracts, including marriage. But we cannot trust them with a beer. Your statements go to prove that the drinking age regulation doesn't stop anyone who really wants to drink anyway. People will either be responsible with alcohol or they will not be. The age difference between 18 and 21 have little enough to do with it. People compare giving 18 year olds alcohol to giving them a loaded gun. But an 18 year old can properly own a loaded gun....
I think the law should restrict the amount of alcohol one consumes a bit than the age of the consumer.
I enjoy no clue why you cant drink at 18. And I agree with you 100%
