what are my rights regarding a dog bite? best answer10 points!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

a few months ago my dog was outside and she was tied on a chain out on the deck. my neighbors son fixed to go over to my dog and pretend to choke her on the neck but actually did hurt the dog a bit and the dog bit him. the neighbors daughter said that she can sue regardless of if the dog be tied up or not because it left a mark . i heard that be not true because it was the kids choice to go up to the dog as the dog was tied up away from him. does her mom enjoy the right to sue me even if the dog was tied up and it was completely the kids choice to go up to the dog . if you necessitate the state its missouri plz answer i did not invite the kid to my property he just went over there
Best Answer:
This was entirely the kids fault. The dog be on your property, he was tied up, and the kid was antagonizing the dog...of course he get bit. Let the woman sue if she wants to, she won't win. The dog was on your property and contained, you are not liable for the incident. The only problem you may own is if the dog is not current with license and rabies vaccine.
i would read aloud that if the dog is restrained possibly not. Did you invite the kid onto your property? If so you could be in trouble.
not really because it be the kids fault if he was going to pretend to hurt the dog,and did,the dog used self defense protecting itself, your dog was chain up minding its own business and if a boy hurt it,its his fault for hurting the dog,so she does not have the right to sue you........u could only be sued if u invited the kid over towards the dog
