No. To me, that's close to a slap on the wrist. Obviously the U.S. isn't the only country that has issues with criminals & the judicial system. It get's ancient after awhile. I will always believe in a life for a vivacity so Hughes should have been given 2 life sentences.
In the relation I left you , the murderer got only 7 years minus the 235 days he's already served.It be classed as manslaughter and she was my friend and workmate - there is a lot of ill-feeling around here just about him and his sentence because it is felt that you don't accidentally run-over your wife twice and that he,a taxi driver, was never charged near drink-driving.
