can my friend get emancipated and move with me and is it likely to get emancipated for these reasons?
well my boyfriend wants to get emancipated but doesn't no if the reason he has are likely to get him emancipated.first his parents are separated. and since he he come out his mom has really treated him different and sorta neglects him now solely time she pays attention to him is when he get in trouble or when she makes him do adjectives the chores. she obviously favors his sister over him and treats him like crap she doesn't hit him or nothing in recent times like makes him do all the chores while his sister does nought.then even when his sister obviously does something wrong in front of his mom she still blames him for it..approaching when his sister got caught smoking she blamed him for giving it to her. even when she told her she got it her self from her mom's purse his mom said don't protect your brother and she still blamed him and gave him more chores for punishment .later she is making him move to maine to a small house with his grandma and cuzin and making him go to a crappy school while his sister go to a really good school. he is tired of it all and cant stand it he is 16. can he return with emancipated. he doesnt have a job but he can live with me and my parents till he get one but i live in el paso tx and well he is in maine can he move surrounded by with me? oh he will get a job when he moves to maine
Best Answer:
Emancipation process. Has to work. No support from govt. Has to stay in school. No dropping out. Has to live on their own. No room mates. Living beside other adults. It means on your own. So no. He can't live with you and your parents, and be emancipated.
no. not a good adequate reason, and to be emancipated u have to prove u can take diligence of yourself as an ADULT. how can he do that with no job?
