Do you think that the "I had an abortion" t shirts produced by the pro choice movement?

and Planned Parenthood in the USA are as tasteless as I think they are.

Would you wear one?
Abortion question = bickering without hope of resolution.

I'll keep my thoughts to myself, thank you...
No, I would not wear such a t-shirt. But I would not wear half the tshirts that I see every time I go to the shopping precinct.

I do not believe that Planned Parenthood had anything to do with these shirts - more likely an mechanism that wanted to shock and horrify and pin it on Planned Parenthood. I have volunteered with this foundation in several states over a span of 30 years, and never seen anything like this. And, by the path before someone attacks me, I personally am against abortion - but do respect choice.
since I didn't have an abortion, but I am pro choice I would never wear one of those, i.e. not only offensive, it's completely inaccurate. What lately because I haven't had an abortion that I should not be pro choice? Why is it that you needed to have had an abortion to be pro choice? I've never be pregnant before; I'm so careful that I don't get pregnant for the purpose that I never have to have an abortion but if the choice came down to it, I'm too into my institution to be tied down to kids right now...and i'm as careful as can be, and if i STILL got pregnant, I'd stop it. Cuz that would not be my reproach. Anyways, the t-shirts are stupid, try something else like saying that ur pro-choice or "i support abortions" or something like that. The sympathetic of women I imagine wearing these are the extreme, men hating feminists who feel it called for to harp on about women's rights in the most aggressive way and irritate most population in the process.

I can't imagine any of them would be able to draw from a bloke to sleep with them in the first place.

Although no doubt we'll see Paris Hilton sporting one shortly.....anything to seize her photo taken.
"Tasteless?"

As compared to mile-high bulletin boards of aborted fetuses put up by the rabid insane anti-abortionists?

Ahhh ....No.
***************************

Your question mentioned nothing around "boasting."

You asked if the shirts were "tasteless."

And I said as compared to the really large bulletin boards of abort fetuses, "No, they are not."

Who's talking about "telling it approaching it is?" You were talking about TASTELESS.

Can we start putting really generous pictures of big piles of $hit on bulletin boards, too? After all, bowel movements are "reality."
Lets get the one that says I have VD; or I masturbate while watching porn or ......

stupid and tasteless.
Pretty tasteless. I wouldn't wear one. It would be inviting trouble. People are very excited about this issue. But I think their goal is to destigmatize abortion and give support to people realize your friends and neighbors have experienced this and it is more widespread than you might surmise. It is part of normal life surrounded by America. You're missing the point somewhat. The point of those shirts is to make an outlandish and shocking statement to therefore be the exact opposing counterpart tp the outlandish and shocking statements made by correct pro-life extremists who damn them to hell etc.

I don't think they're particularly proud, they just want to show support for their raison d`¨ētre in an extreme manner.
no abortions are not something to be proud of bcuz u r KIILING A POOR HELPLESS HUMAN BEING!!!! god had a plan 4 tht little kid :( :,( No. I do believe that those t-shirts are tasteless. And I don't think woman should be proud to have gotten an abortion.
I was so discusted!!! How can you be proud of killing an innocent child? There are so many inhabitants out there like my husband and I trying to have a toddler that would love to adopt a child. We've been trying for 5 years and when I see that my heart just hurts. That child could have have a loving family if the birth mother would have carried the baby. So discouraged!!! No... but I've never had an abortion. To be honest, even if I had (although I'm pretty sure I would never even consider abortion), I wouldn't wear them. I don't wear a T-shirt truism "I'm on my period" when it's that time of the month... stuff like that should be kept private and not boasted about.
I'm all for womens rights and the right to agree on to have an abortion (don't attack me for my opinion anti-abortionists). I've never had an abortion but hold friends who have....I don't think any of them would wear those t-shirts as it was an wild event in their life that, while not ashamed, they also weren't proud of.

I wouldn't wear one of those t-shirts and I wouldn't want to see other people wearing them any.... I don't think it's the best advertisment for women's rights.
They are tasteless, although Im neither for or against abortions, it isnt something that should be advertise. Its a womans right to choose what happens to her body, but you dont tell everyone on the street that you've had one. Do they form shirts that say "my girlfriend had an abortion" ? cause I obligation to get one of those. So what if they are tasteless? Should I be concerned about what you are going to deliberate of clothes when i get dressed in the morning?
haha.....yea they are......I would never wear one....Its resembling wearing a shirt that says...."I killed my child, yay for me" ....I wouldn't be happy to announce that i took a childs arbitrary to take a breath into this world away. Abortion is wrong....
No pretty distasteful and no I would never wear one if I was a skank that had an abortion.

Looking for a secure stance on abortion? me neither

No, abortion is not something to be proud of but sometimes it's the best decision at the time.

I've have two and I didn't want to but it was the right choice at the time. I'm in a much better position in go now and plan to have lots of children to love (responsibly of course).

I don't think that t-shirt be produced by the pro choice movement. That's more exploitation of the subject. The choice of abortion is very serious but many take plus of such a choice.
I would dare any pro choice person to wear a t shirt like this. They would achieve hammered with so many dirty looks it would not be funny. No one requirements to admit they killed a human being. yes some general public dont accept abortion as a minor operation on a few cells they strangely think its murder
here weirdos need to be marginalized and forced back in their nutso Church's
holy crap! i'm shocked!

i'm all something like pro-choice and you're body, you're right but there no way in hell i'd run around wearing a t-shirt like that!

we all make mistakes and we shouldn't necessarily be ashamed but you shouldn't move about around all proud about it!
heck no i wouldn't wear one!
i wouldn't be comfortable walking around with adjectives those abortion hater people staring at me. I don't think the majority of women who have have an abortion would like to advertise it to anyone whatsoever
Whether you are for or against abortion, if you had one next I'm sure it would be one of the most difficult times in your life...I can't imagine wanting to plaster it on my chest for the adjectives world to see. I really don't think that is a good t-shirt to wear. it is naught to be proud about. and what if another woman had one read your shirt and bursts out to tears. you have to deduce about others too.
I prefer the shirt that say "I eat babies" I am a murderer T-Shirt would do nice.
who cares what you think about it. You are not wearing them so why consideration. I guess you want to tell people what to wear next; after you start unfolding them what they can and cant do with THERE bodys The t-shirts were meant to plain a dialog about abortion, and the stigma attached to them that often pushes women into silence. I'd say they be pretty successful in that mission.
I'm a man and I'd wear it just for the irony. Stupid a** people...
