New Pizza hut Policy?

Does anyone know what is up with the new policy that employees cannot bring their own food or drink to work? Is that officially recognized? from Ohio
My stepson works in food service, and from his experience I would guess that this policy developed because someone did something stupid approaching put "ingredients" from their own lunch on a pizza that accidentally got served to a guest.

At the chain that my stepson manages, no outside food can be consumed contained by the dining room. A guest with a wheat allergy cannot ask the kitchen to prepare their personal pasta as a substitution.

This all boils down to liability - in our litigious society, population sue for anything. It's an industry.

If I'm allergic to peanuts and go into anaphylactic shock because you ate your peanut butter sandwich in the kitchen and a small piece of peanut dropped into my food unobserved, then the restaurant is liable.

It is officially recognized. You have the option of eating your personal food stale site.
sounds like a policy not a law; check near the local National Labor Relations Board office since Pizza Hut's law requires you to eat their food instead of you bringing decent food, I guess you can eventually sue over you getting sick from not eating healthy food, huh?
perfectly legal. most restaurants are like this you munch through and drink what they serve at a lesser cost
They can go outside and eat in their vehicle, anything they want.
