A company i used to work for has been facking my signature on cheques?
i had a phone call from the bank to ask when i left and when was the last time i signed a cheque for the company, it was a year ago that i left so someone has been signing my name and the company is under investigation for fraud sould i be worried and what should i do.
Tell the bank they are using that it has come to your attention that fraud may be going on, then visit the police and tell them the same... you'll be in the clear then
prison time....
well the investigators will probably sort it all out - but it you are really worried - go to the police - they have a special fraud unit
Inform the police.
Answer:
You have nothing to worry about and if you wish you can reply to the company secretary this just assists their case and does not in any way incriminate you quite the reverse.I would send a lettere to the bank to cover yourself and always keep copies of letters. In a fraud case of this type I would not involve the police as frankly they wont be intrested unless you have suffered a loss due to this fraud.
You can prove you wreen't at the company at the time, so it's not your problem, you haven't done anything wrong. Good luck.
facking!!! LOL
What pray you is 'facking?' But in case you mean 'faking,' you have no problem unless you have been signing these checks yourself. Just sit tight until you hear from the investigators, then you might be required to testify in court.
Nothing to worry about here , fraud investigators know their job !!
tell the police cos its fraud.u wont get into trouble cos u havnt been working there for over a year
I think you should inform a lawyer, who in-turn Will tell the police. This is serious fraud and you may be implicated.
If you have any info on who is leading the investigation then arrange an interview to tell them all you know / dates you left etc etc .... You haven't done anything wrong so don't worry about it.
Facking hell that's not right is it?
contact the police and the bank as this is fraud
In this case, you will be witness, not a suspect
Sue them.. u have a good case!
