Are yard sales legal?
Are yard sales legal? can I do them on a day after day basic?
Best Answer:
Daily justification...no and I'm sure your neighbors wouldn't appreciate that much. Check with your local City Hall regarding how often, permit required, etc.
you have to check local laws
If you do them on a daily basis, you would need to check with your city for a permit. If its every once surrounded by a while then probably not.
Check next to your city hall. You usually have to get a security. Since you gave me a thumbs down, I'll say this: I hope you're not one of those tacky empire who takes from the donation boxes at the Salvation Army and Goodwill to make a quick buck.
If you do it on a daily basis, you should probably pay sales tax
Technically? Probably not. Because you're evading tax laws on those sale. But nobody will mess with you. A cop would maybe give you a qualification some day if you're out there daily.
Holy crap how much stuff do you have. No its not illegal and you don't stipulation a permit unless your selling other peoples stuff then your own as in approaching a business but you only need a permit or license base on how much money your making California is more then 500$ a week or something.
No, you can't do them on a daily basis, legitimately. I'm pretty sure no cop would waste his time busting a compulsive garage sale holder though.
You may own to get a business license if you are going to be doing a daily business. I see people within my neighborhood do it like once a week and no one ever says anything to them. Every year, though, you may want to check out with your city & state statues.
Sure y not its your junk ain't like you going to be a millionaire
The laws surrounded by each community are different. Most have some limit the the number one character can have. Consider buying a booth at a Flea Market.
yea
