My driver's license suspended out of state. I did not appear in court because my dad died.?

I was caught in a speed trap by 3 officers out writing tickets on an april morning. It be for going 35mph in a 25mph zone. This is along a stretch next to the cemetary.

I was planning to brawl the ticket because from initial research, it was an illegal speed trap. My dad passed away 4 days after I got the ticket and I own been home, out of state since, taking care of family businesses. I originally extended my audible range date by 1 week. There was no way I could make it stern to the state even after the extension since I am still overwhelmed with work at home.

I just got a message from the state, not my home state, that my license is suspended. And the letter says I have to turn over my license. They get my mailing address wrong incidentally but fortunately the mailman knew to deliver the letter here.

What is the course of exploit that I need to take at this time? I have taken pictures when I be pulled over and the officers did not want to appear on camera. The initial fine was $85.
you call for to go and take care of that situation asap. so it won't turn into a warrant.
Just pay the fine. $85.00 is a minimal fine and much easier to earnings then fighting with the courts- a raid you will inevitably lose.

They can suspend you in their state, by why are you worried? Its not your home state. Let them suspend it in that state- its not like it will effect you.
If your license is not in the state where on earth you got caught in the speed trap then you should not dispatch it in. You will be in contempt of that court however and if you want to drive or get a license within that state again you should use the second alternative:

Appeal the suspension. For that you will probably need an attorney in the state where you be cited who handles traffic tickets.

What has happened is that state found you guilty by failure to pay and threw the book at you. So now it is time to fight or flee ;-)

Thanks for asking.
