How long does a background check take?
I had an interview (a) charlotte russe and they said im on the list to be hired but theyre still waiting on background checks. Im really impatient so if someone could tolerate me know how long they might take, it would really help me out. They told me this on thursday march 20. Thank you!

The length of time it take epends on which agency one uses, how many counties need to be checked, how thourough the agency is, whether the counties are automated or manual, and your criminal history. I've see checks come back the same day or inwardly 24 hours. I've seen checks take 28 days.
If you were convicted of a crime more than 7 years ago, it will filch longer to verify that "hit" on the background check, as many of these records are archived. In a non-automated county where on earth a clerk has to manually search the archives, it will take longer.
If you hold no criminal activity (including traffic offenses), you can expect your results with many agencies inside 3-5 days.
since yesterday was a holiday you might not know until Monday. While the stores might have been unfurl yesterday, most corporations take good friday off. But anyway, when i be working in HR, it took anywhere from 24 hrs to 3 days.
