Increase needy elderly $ monthly allowance from current $290 to $400?

lets analyse how the current $290 can be used in a month.
1. say pay $100 for utilities, housing rents
2. they have $190 left to be used in a month
3. there are 30 days in a month, divide $190 by 30
4. Each elderly only have $6.33 per day to spend
5. This $6.33 includes daily neccessities+ 3 meals per day
6. Do you think this is enough?

This is certainly not enough. Your analyse exclude medical bill, don't forget elderly have a higher medical bill. This amonut ($290) can hardly survive, and they are 'NOT SUPPOSE' to fall sick!

They can just simple increase the Ministers pay to 1.2 million per annum, and President to 2.6 million per annum, but refused to increase needly elderly monthly allowance. By statistic, needy elderly whose take allowance from the Government is less than 3000 people. Thus even they increas to $400 per month, it's just only $14 million per annum. Compare they paid to the Ministers of $46 million per annum, I don't see why the Government refused.

The richest Asean country with the poorest citizen. This is what happening in this country.
