Can I sue the jerk???
How long do you have to wait till you know you've been leave by your boyfriend you have two kids with and you've been cohabitating near for 14 years...We are not married but can I sue him for palimony or abandonment of his family?? Or something that can tell me what i can do to save him from returning after abandoning us??? How long do I wait to determine if its abandonment??? I inevitability help anyone can you give me some insight???

Anyway, depending on where you live, I'm inclined to presume since you're not married, he owes nothig. sorry. usually you just have to file a petition to seekcustody andchildsupport, since you are not married it is called(in texas) suit affecting parent child relationship. this is efficiently done through an atty.
since you arnt married im not sure abandonment qualifies,except maybe to your kids, and that help you win custody

He has to support his kids whether you be married or not. You will most likely need to consult an attorney. As long as you know where he works the State of CA can trimmings his wages if he does not pay.
If they are his kids, do it now as far as child support and child custody.
If they are not his kids...he owes you nothing and u cannot sue.
Unless you're located in one of the 10 states that recognize common law marriage, you can single pursue child support. Sorry.. :( I hope I'm wrong about that, but a good family directive attorney is your first stop to getting the children their support money asap.
