Do you own a gun?
why?
Yes I do and I know how to use it. Having and carrying a gun levels the playing field. An armed attacker and an unarmed attackee is never a horizontal playing field. I prefer to level. Yes I own several guns. They are pistols, rifles and shotguns.
I use them primarily for target practice and occasionally for hunting.
No. I've never seen a reason to have one.
I grew up beside guns and am a decent shot, but as an adult, have never see a need for one (except for when I was in the military).
I believe that relatives should have the right to own guns, the right to an abortion, and whatever rights we have moved out that the government hasn't taken away from us yet. Just because I am not exercising a right doesn't mean that I want it taken away from anyone else.
Just my two cents! :-)
No. They panic me. Yes. Security, defense, and sport
Yes, I own several. I enjoy target shooting and hunting. I also have a feeling that it is important to be able to defend myself and my loved ones if need be. Yes.
To protect myself and my family from any enemy should the involve present itself.
Somebody breaks into my house, threatens me or the family, and I'm going to call the police, have a form, and wait? No, I'm calling the morgue.
yup!..two 12 determine shotguns..one primarily for skeet shooting, one w/turkey choke for turkey hunting....one .308 Remington rifle w/redfield scope for deer season....they all double as fine hunting guns, and more than adequate firearms within case some dope head decides to enter my home short permission and threaten me...which is not a strange occurance anymore...by the way were you aware that thieve are the #1 advocate of gun control? wonder why? Yes, I do. :)
I have it to protect my family. I also hold an alarm system, security lights, and a protective guard dog. When all else fails, you know.
I don't live contained by a gated community that's all sunshiney gumdrops. Things happen here, just approaching they do everywhere else. I'd rather be prepared than dead.
Yes, more than one. Why? I used to hunt and target shoot. Don't much anymore. I guess I am saving them to bestow to my grandsons. I do feel safer with them in the house since my nouns is teeming with meth heads. Yes. A modified colt 1911 .45 ACP, and a Sig Sauer P226 for concealed carry. Oh yeah and if you count my standard issue M16 than that too.
oorah
yes - to target practice (a pistol)
haven't shot it in over 5 years yeah, for target practice
No. 1. I own small kids in the house.
2. I can't hit the broad side of the barn at 3 paces
and would probably shoot myself before anyone else
People who own guns are more imagined to shoot themselves in the foot than have to defend themselves from an intruder. The world might be big and fear-provoking but I'll take my chances without weaponry. yep~!!!
well, the United States Government trained me to shoot bad guys with it~!!!
and i couldn't freshly let all that training and talent go to waste~!!!
A rifle, for hunting. Several. Because I like them and I want them.
No, i don't own one. In my opinion, they shuld have never invented them to begin beside.
Only my LuvGunn! Yee-Oww!! No. I don't want to kill anybody.
