There is a difference in motherliness leave and PAID maternity leave. You may acquire the time, just not the money. They should not have to pay for you to enjoy a baby unless they got you pregnant.

get a hold of Human resources dept.. or you local labor board they have to by FEDERAL LAW allow you leave
why should they own to offer you maternity leave ?As an employer I would not own an issue with it ...but there are many Companies out near struggling right now who simply can not afford it....Only by the grace of God is my business still up and kicking...
