Once we ban guns, whats next?

Take a look at korea... most people over there don't have any guns. that doesn't stop them from committing crimes. They a short time ago use knifes and baseball bats. So whats the next step? Seems to me the subsequent it would be bow and arrows, then knifes or high powered slingshots. For that business you could really cause some damage with a pointy stick. Anyhow nation fight, people kill. It happen. Instead of taking away the instruments they use to kill with why not lecture the people? Most gun violence happens contained by the big cities amongst minorities so why not try to deal with the real issues close to poverty and crappy housing and education. (a)poobah Please try to stay on topic. Read my question very closely.... did you see anything almost the election in it? Again, rather a rifle is dutiful for hunting or not should have no bearing on my right to own it. Its the right to bear arms, not the right to undergo hunting rifles. The whole reason we have the right to undergo arms is to keep the government in check, and we can't do that hugely well if we all have single shot bb guns presently can we? Do you know what your talking about when you say "assault rifle" ? Heres a air, its not about being "fully automatic"
Best Answer:
Despite what the NRA keeps ranting about, not a soul is going to take away your right to bear arms. They just want to bring rid of assault rifles which are not very good for hunting anyway. Get over it and try to look at the real issues within this election.
Great point!
Yeah we barely have the right to shield ourselves any more now the government wants to attack the constitution however again. By taking away the right to bear arms which they have almost achieve any way with gun registration laws and permit. People who can't fight for freedom don't have freedom. Once they do this I am thinking better living through chemistry just create bombs out of house hold chemicals. I mean what the hell explosions and fire do more damage any way right.
I'm a pretty thorny core liberal, but I can tell you I have never wanted to run guns away from the majority of the country. In fact, I love going to the range with a buddy of mine who have everything from a 9mm pistol to an AK-47 he traded his Fender Strat for. But, I also do not consider guns, archery equipment, or knives to be weapons. I was brought up to put them surrounded by the same category as fishing equipment. They are tools. Not toys, not weapons. If you have a problem near punching someone in the face, then you shouldn't encounter them anyways (war is the obvious exception). I do think we need to school people more on firearms. But I also don't understand why things like Uzi's are made available to the public. You're not going to hunt next to it, I guess it's fun to waste that much money on ammunition, and I understand it's our rights to have one, but honestly, those guns are made for one intention: to spray bullets at other human beings. I think automatic weapons should be limited to military use. It's firm to restrict these types of things, which is why we need to tighten down on gun control, then slowly let the reigns out until we make that fine line.
You have a very perfect point. Guns kill people like spoons product people fat. It's not the guns its how you handle it.
very good interrogate and point well made
Very nice Ethan. I read somewhere an argument against banning guns, which surrounded by my opinion settles the whole issue. "Great! Let's ban guns, that process only the people who have them illegaly will own them at all" or something to that effect. The truth is most gun crimes are committed with unregistered, unlicensed weapons. So banning guns is categorically not the answer. I like the solution that's in place of registering your weapons, and I regard as stiffer penalties should be called for when you're caught with an unendorsed, unregistered weapon. I also like your solution, and I think that would definitely provide a positive boost within fighting crime. Educating (minorities especially) will help curb gun violence and adjectives violence. So I agree with you, I just looked-for to share that little quote I happened upon a while ago.
If I required to kill another human it would be easy without a gun, axe or archery equipment. Bombs are easily built and most of the stuff needed can be bought in the grocery store. As the NRA states, 'outlaw guns and only outlaws will hold guns.' Gun control starts with education and ends in the pave the way and hand that holds the gun. If the people are educated and enjoy common sense no weapon is dangerous. It is the weak and corrupt mind that make a thing hazardous to another's health and welfare. AMERICA, first and foremost!
