Federal Minimum Wage?

I live in Vermont. What is the minimum wage?

Is federal miimum wage the LOWEST any employer can pay you? Or is the state's minimum wage the lowest your employer can pay you?

Also, if you are 15..you inevitability a work permit, correct? If so, how do you get one in the state of Vermont?

The federal minimum wage is the lowest an employer can payment you, unless your state has a higher minimum wage rate. Vermont's rate is $7.68.
