Do you think legalizing marijuana would rescue the economy and lower crime rates?
If I were president In my opinion this would be the fastest way to bring the reduction back up. But set rules such as make marijuana bars no driving if intoxicated same as alcohol law I think it would bring the crime rate down because then what would drug dealers put on the market no illegal drugs no power no money for drug dealers right give me your honest belief. And I'm not into drugs by the way

Personally Marijuana isn't that honest of a drug, its worse on the senses then alcohol. Think of all the accidents which would embezzle place is Marijuana was legalized... lol it would double alcohol related accidents. I believe that marijuana has the experience to help the economy, but the downside to it... how will it be controlled. People will overdo it and everyday people would be dignified and not in the right state of mind. Think of teachers being high-ranking, mayors, cops, firefighters, employees, students... it would be widespread abuse. I am against it becoming trial.
No and yes. Legalizing MJ would have a very small if any effect on the economy as a unharmed. But I do think that it would lower the crime rates as people would no longer be arrested for having or selling MJ
I honestly don't think it will have as big an monetary impact as most people assume it will. Pot is largely grown for the US in the US and in Mexico. It will relief keep some of the money here, but if the tax is too high or the margins too strong people will still just seek out the black bazaar. Now the problem with legalize weed is what do you do with adjectives the people in jail for selling and growing. When you run to jail you basically go to criminal college, you swot new skills, habits, and ways to skirt around the legal system. However, keeping family convicted of growing what is now a legal substance locked up may be deemed unconstitutional. Speaking of constitutionality, the federal establishment cannot directly tell the states what to do. They can say, ok we have given weed the green hurricane lantern but they can't say every state has to too. Some people will cite the locally mandated drinking limit but they do so in error. The ruling does not say "Every state has to have a legitimate limit of 21 years" rather it says "If your state does not set its minimum age to 21 next they receive no highway funding from the federal government." States comply to receive those billions in relief funds. This ruling came about as a response to the numerous drunk driving deaths from teens driving accross state lines to travel drink legally in another state. As much as I would like to, I cannot see a similar exoneration for a complete legalization of weed.
Economy would most likely be helped with the right taxation. The stuff can be grown, harvest, and packaged much cheaper than what the current street value is and taxes could bring it up to that level. Crime I agree would be lowered for various reasons. Would I legalize it right now? No, because nearby is currently no way to test if someone is under the influence of cannabis at any given point surrounded by time just ways to tell if they have consumed it in the last few days to weeks. Therefore no way to tell if any driver be high at the time of being pulled over, and if you made it so that if you tested positive at all afterwards you could held accountable someone would abuse the system and arrest someone out of malice. Now if you could find a style to tell if someone way high at the time next I'd say make it legal in a minute.
