Why do people say Texas does not have high paying jobs?
The following median income is from the us census bureau it is the total of all income for the state, which can include one or more people within household or single income earner.
64,563 California median income
52,355 Texas median income
64,563 minus 52,355 equals 12,208
211,500 California average home price
82,500 Texas average home price
California has more taxes, higher home prices, which after all the numbers are crunched money contained by Texas goes alot further.
Low paying jobs in Texas? Yes i.e. true if you are uneducated, an illegal immigrant or in the wrong area.
There are tons of people in Texas who make alot of money.
What? There are high paying jobs surrounded by the other 47 continental Union states?
I've never heard anyone say this going on for Texas. Arizona 47,265 Dollars
Arizona Housing: 236,500 Dollars
There aren't in Arizona and housing is overpriced, too.
I will pinch Texas over California any day! I just moved out of CA and it is ridiculous how over-priced everything is. Even food costs more. And 200k for a CA house seems a touch under-priced.. more like 400k.
