People say Bestiality is wrong because the animal can't consent, but animal testing is okay?

I'm confused. Now that we know if a man and a dog have sex there won't be any man-dog offspring, the key argument against it is that the non-human animal can't consent. What about animal testing? They can't consent to that but it's legal, and bestiality is not. Why? Why is torturing and bloodshed something better than having sex with it?

Please understand I'm not truism I think bestiality should be legal, I'm just asking why is it risky where as testing is not?

Laws are created by humans after all, humans residing in that nation. While killing cows here (in the US) is pleasing, doing so in India for example, may not be. It all depends on what's revered and opposed by the people living nearby.

It just so happens people here imagine having sex with animals is not okay, but killing them is. There are supporting arguments for both sides, but what it comes down to is humans fashion the laws to best suit ourselves and out culture. Logic doesn't necessarily come into play.
Bestiality being wrong isn't around consent, it's about them not being even the same species. Humans beside humans, sheep with sheep, monkies with monkies.

EDIT: I'm not saying I agree beside animal testing, because I don't. If a product is too dangerous to be tried on humans, it shouldn't be manufactured in the first place!
it is true that animal testing is permissible but bestiality isn't. honestly i don't understand what they think the difference is between the two and why one is ok and the other isn't. I have done so masses reports and debates over this topic and i still can't tell you why. What i can tell you is that we interview on the animals because we cant test on our own species. people believe that the animals dont feel and so and so its ok. Where as bestiality is concerened, most of the cases are with a domesticated animal and its just REALLY gross. its a pervertion of nature to do something close to that. i don't agree with any type of abuse or testing on an animal but at hand is really nothing we can do to stop it no matter what we do.
Good point. Better to have sex with animals than assessment on them. At least that way they get laid. :) That's an interesting query, and it raises both very moral and aninal rights issues. I feel that both are wrong, have been an animal rights activist, and a believer in what the Bible have to say about beastiality!
Both issues, make me give attention to, why can't people just love animals for the companions they were put on land, to be for us! ??? I wish people would love and treat animals the way the creator intended us to.
